Located between 20-45 minutes south of Rochester off I-90 is an area of unspoiled beautiful scenery known as the Historic Bluff Country. Settlers first arrived here in the 1840's and 1850's. Below the bluffs are the Mississippi River and the rushing Root River. The popular Root River Bike Trail also winds its way through this area.
